Drinkwell filters: match carbon and foam separately
Match listed Drinkwell fountains to genuine carbon filters, check the separate foam part, and avoid assuming that a shared foam filter means shared carbon fit.

Match your fountain’s carbon filter and foam filter separately. PetSafe lists the same foam part for Seaside and Stainless Multi-Pet fountains, but those models use different carbon-filter families. Finding a match for one part does not settle the whole order. Carbon filter list, foam filter list, stainless fountain parts guide.
This is a parts-shopping guide based on US manufacturer pages checked October 16, 2026, plus PetSafe’s stainless fountain manual. We have not tested fit or filtration performance. There are no affiliate links.
Find the carbon family first
Start with the exact fountain name and model number from its label, receipt or manual. The table covers the models named below, not every PetSafe fountain or every generic replacement.
| Your fountain | Genuine carbon-filter reference |
|---|---|
| Original, Platinum, Mini, Multi-Tier, Outdoor Dog, Everflow or Zen | Premium Carbon Filters, PAC00-13070 |
| Drinkwell ½, 1 or 2 Gallon; Butterfly, Avalon, Pagoda, Seascape, Sedona, Seaside or Creekside | Replacement Carbon Filters, PAC00-13906 |
| Stainless Multi-Pet, PWW00-13705 | 360 Carbon Filters, listed as PAC00-13712 in the manual |

PetSafe also lists the specified ½, 1 and 2 Gallon fountains under the Oasys name. Match the exact model rather than assuming every Oasys fountain takes the same filter. Gallon-model compatibility.
The stainless part number comes from PetSafe’s 2019 manual, not a current-stock check. The 360 row applies to the named stainless model. Do not extend its foam match to a plastic 360 or another model just because the name includes “360.” If your label differs or you cannot identify the fountain, ask PetSafe support to confirm the parts before ordering.
Check foam as a second part
PetSafe’s PAC00-13711 foam-filter page lists the gallon and ceramic-family models in the middle row, as well as Stainless Multi-Pet. That shared foam listing does not make their carbon filters interchangeable. For example, Seaside points to PAC00-13906 carbon; the stainless model points to 360 carbon. Foam compatibility, Seaside carbon, stainless parts.
A carbon-filter pack is not automatically a carbon-and-foam set. The linked Premium and PAC00-13906 packs list carbon filters as their contents; foam is a separate product. Check the seller’s included-items section rather than assuming a larger pack contains both parts. Premium contents, PAC00-13906 contents.
For installation and care, use your exact model’s instructions. This guide does not recommend changing a maintenance routine or running a fountain without its specified parts.
Save enough detail for the next order
Our suggested reorder note keeps each part on its own line:
- Fountain name and model number:
- Carbon-filter name, part number and product link:
- Foam-filter name, part number and product link, if specified for this model:
- Quantity actually included in each selected pack:
- Date you confirmed the match:
Keep that note with your shared cat-supply list or whichever household shopping note you already use. Add your own purchase price to the pet budget planner. The useful shortcut is a confirmed model-and-part pair, not just a saved search for “Drinkwell filters.”
