For their people.
The ones with a camera roll full of sleeping pets.
And a very particular spot on the sofa.
A good life is made of little things.
A place for the leash. A plan for the next bag of food. A useful idea you can actually try this weekend. Sidekick Days is a growing collection of reads and tools for those ordinary parts of life with dogs and cats.
We’re starting small, with practical household ideas and simple planning tools. Our aim is to make this a place you can come back to when you need a clear answer or a little inspiration.
How we approach the work
We check the evidence and usefulness of each piece before it enters the public library. Original household ideas are presented as suggestions, not scientific findings.
When we cover products, we explain whether a comparison comes from published specifications or actual testing. We don’t invent hands-on experience, expert quotes, or reviews. Any affiliate or sponsored relationship will be disclosed alongside the relevant content.
Health content needs human review before publication. Clinical advice needs a qualified veterinary reviewer. This first collection focuses on everyday organization and planning.
About the artwork
Our illustrations add a little personality to the site. They are not photographs of tested products or real pets.
A small note on privacy
The budget calculator runs in your browser. We don’t receive its inputs, and this version doesn’t save them. Reloading or leaving the page clears your numbers. We haven’t added advertising trackers or analytics.
When the site is hosted, its hosting provider may process standard request information to deliver pages and keep the service running.
Keeping things useful
We aim to correct errors and explain meaningful updates. As the library grows, sources and review dates will help you judge how current an article is.
